Some films just aren't appreciated straight away. Much like a fine wine, they often have to sit for a while before they eventually become treasured. This is definitely true for the hyper-masculine Fight Club, which stars Brad Pitt and Edward Norton.
It's hard to imagine it's been two whole decades since Peter Jackson's epic The Lord Of The Rings trilogy was released. Still held up to the highest esteem, the fantasy series is just one of those franchises where one can't help but wonder what it must've been like to have been there on set.
No matter how massive or beloved a franchise is, you can't please everyone all the time. This is definitely true of Star Wars, especially with the latest installment - which is The Rise Of Skywalker, on the off chance you've been living under a rock recently - going down as one of the most divisive entries in the franchise yet, even though it's now closing in on $1 billion at the box office.
There's simply no rest for the famous, it seems as it's come to light recently that Leonardo DiCaprio has saved a man from drowning while he was on his New Year's vacation in the Caribbean, Movie Web reports. The story goes that while he was amongst friends at the tail end of December, a man unknown to Dicaprio apparently fell overboard whilst on a cruise ship in St. Barts.
Let it never be said that fanbases on the internet don't wear their heart on their sleeves. When it comes to all things Star Wars, fanatics are quick to voice their glee (or even despair) on the likes of Twitter and other social media channels. And the announcement of the premiere date for the upcoming new season of The Clone Wars is no exception.
It's probably fair to say that there are very few people out there who didn't feel that Joaquin Phoenix deserved a Golden Globe award for Joker. That's not to say folks weren't surprised when he won, but probably no one was more surprised than Phoenix himself.
The new BBC series Dracula is already enjoying a moderate amount of success after it began airing in the US and UK late last year. And now, following on the heels of this is the upcoming DVD and Blu-ray release which, according to Amazon, will feature over 20 minutes of additional bonus content.
Who doesn't love Bruce Campbell? Seriously, he has become synonymous with cult horror flicks, playing the lead in Sam Raimi's Evil Dead series. The man known as The Chin is something of a B-movie legend and now it appears he's gunning for a role in Kevin Smith's upcoming sequel Mallrats 2.
Say what you will about Disney, but they do not screw around when it comes to earning the big bucks. They may churn out some of the most family-friendly, cutesy movies in cinema history, but at their heart they're a massive corporation hellbent on possibly taking over the planet (it could be worse).
